The story behind Bellarova Apartments
We were both born and lived most of our lives here in Rovaniemi, Lapland. In addition to us, our family includes three wonderful children. We live an active life, and in addition to managing Bellarova Apartments, our everyday life is very sports and music oriented. We travel a lot, mostly in warm countries, which gives balance to living in Finnish Lapland. 😎

When traveling with our family, we usually like to stay in homelike accommodations rather than hotel rooms. We like having a little more space to live in and being able to cook our own meals. Better for us and the kids too! Over the years, we have seen many types of accommodation while traveling, which also serves as a source of inspiration for Bellarova Apartments.

Things we have learned to appreciate in our accommodation
Ease
When the journey starts, we don't want the slightest stress about whether we will find our destination or get inside the place. Especially if our check-in time is late and the kids are tired, it should be perfectly easy to get in. We don't want to drive around looking for an apartment, think about where to park the car, look for the entrance or especially pick up the keys from yet another place.
Equipment level
So that the idea of home-like accommodation does not lose its meaning, it is really important that the accommodation has everything you need for living. If I want to make an omelette and there is no oil in the apartment, or I take a shower and there is no hair dryer, I get frustrated.
Cleanliness
One problem with home-like accommodations is people's different perception of cleanliness. If the cleaning is not done by a professional, the result of the cleaning is based on the cleaner's own view of what is clean and what is not. It is especially important to us that when we arrive at the apartment it is really clean and fresh.
Feeling welcome
This is perhaps more difficult to explain. We don't want to feel like an intruder in someone else's home and wonder what we can and can't do. We want to feel welcome.
